I have done my research on fitness. I love it. It is my outlet outside of my own wonderful family. I love working out and feeling accomplished when I have done it every day of the week. I could tell you all about BMIs, BMRs, Weight training vs. Cardio, interval training, and circuit training. I could tell you about the calories in your food, and the appropriate amount to intake based on activity levels. Things that are fun to talk about if people ask, but are rude to talk about mid-bite of a slice of pie. Which brings me to my problem. I am an emotional eater. Something that can be worked with if you recognize your own cues, but I have definitely gotten off course. First you should know that I am pregnant. Good excuse to gain weight right? Yes...but it can lead to poor decision making too. for example, I am now over 200lbs. There is no need for me to gain anything. I do not plan on starving by any means, but I can definitely use this time to develop better habits so my baby is getting good nutrition and my transfer back to eating entirely for me can be a healthier one. This blog is now to keep me accountable. The challenge is to write down every single meal. That way I can visualize what areas are strong and what needs cleaning up. Especially as my days get stressful and I am tempted to make cookie dough. :)
I am having my baby in approx. 7 weeks. So lets make this a 40 day project.
Plenty of time and a break if the baby comes a bit early...I wouldn't mind a week early. lol
That's time to re-develop good eating habits and take care of my little darlin.
Once I come home from having this baby I can pick it up again and go for 6 weeks. That's doctor recommended recovery time. Hopefully my body will be primed and ready to start training hard core after I have been eating like a beast. I will go into detail about my workouts at that point. So excited!
Day 1- Today (breakfast was when I noted the problem. As you can see. I needed a self intervention)
